Two Birthday Parties in one day = Very tired toddler

Oh there have been a lot of birthdays happening around here lately and we are just getting closer to the big months for birthdays in this family.  My nephew.........

Happy Birthday Bryce!

I remember coming to visit you on your first day at the hospital and all of the times that you slept on my chest. You are an amazing little man and have been such a help with Lucas.  He loves and adores you!  We can't wait to watch more of your baseball games too!  You are good!

We loved Bryce's Party too.  It was at the bowling alley so Lucas got to bowl for the first time ever!  (I was thankful to have my camera back)

After bowling we napped and then headed to the little gym for Pipers Birthday party.  Oh the fun!  The little gym is fun too.  We will have to look into that this winter when we can't play outside!

Needless to say we went to bed really early that night.  What an awesome way to end the weekend.  Spending time with family and friends.

Oh Lucas got in some trouble one day.  He is usually perfect but the toddler in him was showing when out of spite he grabbed and threw my new camera on the tile floor (this was after he got in trouble for climbing onto the stool and counter to reach it) well the flash busted.  Bummer.............

I had to send it off to get repaired and in the meantime we had to use our phones for everything.  I am a tad bummed but then again I am not snapping nearly as many pictures as I did in the first 18 months of his life.  Lucky for Lucas I got it back about a week ago.

We have been spending a lot of time in the backyard now that it is not as hot.  Playing in the tree house, building fires, mulching with dad, driving our truck so it has been a ton of fun.  Lucas loves helping daddy, and momma loves watching them.  Its amazing.
