Happy Birthday Lucas!

Oh, so much has been happening lately and I promise to write soon.  Most importantly Lucas turned 3 today!

Every day is a blessing that we get to be Lucas' parents.  I went through so much since he was born that I appreciate each day I have with him even more.  I can't think about what I missed, or how I thought anymore.  I now have this indescribable feeling that I can't explain.

Lucas turning 3 has been tough.  He is not a baby and as he says he is a Man!  Each day is so fun and brings something new.  I love it.

About a week ago we had an AWESOME birthday party.  I asked Lucas what kind of party he wanted and he said Trucks.  So (of course) went overboard and created am under construction party for him.  Lucas and I had a ton of fun making the decorations for the party! We had a ton of friends come and "work" for the day.

We celebrated today with a room full of balloons after his nap!  He loved it!  

We also went to nanas for dinner and cake!  Oh and there were candles!

Happy Birthday to the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me.  I wonder every day why I was so lucky to have such a wonderful little boy.  I love you Lucas Maxwell!!!!!  Happy Birthday!
