Oh the weather. Its just crazy around here. It was cold and rainy about a week ago and then this weekend! Wow! Rain and storms on Saturday but yesterday was amazing. We played outside, laid in the sun and enjoyed our yard. It was a record high of 86 and AWESOME. So of course I am excited to wear a spring dress and sandals to work right? Of course I am! Lucas was able to wear shorts to school today! Its sunny and beautiful with another high near 80 today. Well as I sit here with my heater ON at my desk while the air conditioner is runny full blast I am reminded that I can't enjoy my cute outfits when I am stuck in the office all day!
Seriously I think every single man in this place is going through the change. The 3 women that are here are all freezing and we all have space heaters at our desk. This happens all year long though so why in the world should I think that it would be different.
I know I am always cold so I think about that when I am dressing, especially in the winter. They keep it cool in the office. So I am wondering what a "typical" temp is to keep your house and office? My house I keep at 68 in the winter (we use a fire place if needed) and about 72 in the summer. (This is more for electric bill savings too) With proper clothes I usually comfortable or a tad cold all the of time. Not at work. I have caught it being 65 some days. Both summer and winter. I go in and out a lot in the summer and its really hard to plan an outfit for 65 inside and 90 outside. Seriously. In the winter there is not a day that goes by that I don't have at least 2 layers everywhere, including 2 pairs of socks along with a heater under my desk!
This is totally when I miss the last office I was at where each office was temperature controlled and I got to keep it at whatever temp I wanted!
sorry for the complaining...........I love this weather though! I can't wait for more!
